Finding Water at Tobo Tani Village

Mata Air Tawar di Tobo Tani 10 meter. Setelah mencari beberapa titik air di Kecamatan Ile Ape kabupaten Lembata, Bapak Pendiri Komunitas Taman Daun ( INGAT, Taman Daun itu adalah KOMUNITAS bukan LSM atau Yayasan atau sejenisnya yang berbadan Hukum atau punya donatur tetap. TAMAN DAUN itu biayai diri sendiri oleh saya dan teman-teman komunitas dan kadang ada satu dua orang baik atau masyarakat kadang terlibat dengan memberikan sedikit rejeki mereka untuk saling tambah kemampuan yang telah kami miliki ).

Bapak pendiri Komunitas Taman Daun yang telah berdiri sejak tahun 1987, pagi ini bersama saya sedang berencana untuk mendatangkan air tawar bagi warga masyarakat desa Tobo Tani yang sepanjang sejarah hingga kini banyak dikenal dengan desa yang sangat menderita baik dari segi infrastruktur jalan hingga air. Sebelum berangkat ke Tobo Tani, kami harus memastikan bahwa di sana ada titik sumber air di tengah perkampungan. Syukurlah bahwa tahap pertama telah dipastikan oleh Bapa Oly pagi ini dengan gaya khas tanpa alas kaki, karena ingin selalu bersatu dengan Bumi dan Alam, hanya lewat gambaran kasar peta desa, bahwa di sana ada harapan besar karena ada titik air dibawah tanah dengan kedalam hanya 10 meter dan itupun hanya 1 titik di tengah kampung atas. Lalu dipastikan bahwa itu merupakan jenis air tawar yang layak dikonsumsi untuk semua kebutuhan hidup.

Hari ini, tanggal 12 Agustus, saya bersama Bapak Oly dan teman-teman komunitas, kami berangkat ke Tobo Tani. Kami sudah sedang berusaha memberikan air bersih untuk Warga Tobo Tani - Kedang kecamatan Buyasuri. Dengan cara yang unik dan tradisional dalam mencari sumber air, bersama warga kami berkeliling kampung. Sangat bersyukur, berapa titik sumber air ditemukan. Fresh water source at Tobo Tani, 10 meters depth. After searching for several water points in Ile Ape District, Lembata Regency, The Founder of Taman Daun Community (REMEMBER, Taman Daun is a COMMUNITY, not NGO or Yayasan or a legal entity and the like, or have regular donors. Taman Daun is self-financed by me and community friends and sometimes there are one or two good people or society gets involved with giving their little wealth to add to what we have). The founder of Taman Daun Community which has been established since 1987, this morning with me were planning to find freshwater sources for the residents of Tobo Tani village which throughout history until now widely known as villages that suffered greatly both in terms of road infrastructure up to water facility. Before heading to Tobo Tani, we have to make sure that there is a water source point in the middle of the village. Thankfully that the first stage has been confirmed by Bapa Oly who this morning with his distinctive barefoot style, because he wants to always be at one with the Earth and Nature, only through the rough picture of the village map, he said that there is a great hope because there is a water point under the ground with only 10 meters depth and that is only 1 point in the middle of the upper village. Then it's ensured that it's a type of freshwater that is suitable for consumption for all necessities of life.

Today, August 12th, we went together to Tobo Tani. We tried to find and provide clean fresh water for the residents of Tobo Tani - Kedang, Buyasuri sub-district. In a unique and traditional way of finding water sources, we together with the locals walk around the village. We are so blessed and very grateful that several points of water sources were found. Hopefully, the longing of Tobo Tani people to have fresh water will soon be fulfilled. Let's Gemohing.
